Vacuum infusion

Project Description

A demonstrator facade sandwich panel in the largest format possible on our mould – 3.5 x 1.6 m. The foam core was thermoformed in advance and placed between two glass fabric facings. The layup was vacuum infused directly on the mould. After curing, the panel was wrapped in a metallic foil giving it a deceptively realistic metal appearance!
