Description: V8 Architects designed an impressive 20 x 5 m canopy as the crown to the entrance of the Brutalist inspired Prinses Irenestraat 59 in Amsterdam. Curve Works offered a solution in the form of smaller, easily transportable panels, assembled on-site to a complete seamless whole. Carbon fibre allowed for an incredibly strong and durable structure, while keeping the elegant razor-thin appearance of the canopy.
